Clare Lindley – Artist

Working currently with paper, her very stylish original paper cuts are hand crafted. Her main influence is romance, stemming from she knows not where! The pieces themselves are compelling and intriguing in their detail, demanding that you look and look again only to find something delightful on each viewing. The use of paper in these distinctive pieces is reminiscent of the 1950’s but it is in fact at the moment a very much revitalised artform and we will see them go from strength to strength.

Helen Roddie – Printmaker

Helen specialises in producing limited edition lino and woodcut prints with mainly a botanical theme. She is happy to receive commissions and also makes hand printed special edition cards. Each design is hand-cut carefully into wood to produce a relief print. Helen has a wonderful ability to capture the nature of flora and since childhood she has had a fond appreciation of nature and the surrounding countryside. Helen originally trained as a geography teacher and then later studied Art and Design at York College.
